Mustangs in the Park - PMB 17 May 09

I spotted no less than 5 Mustangs at this year's Cars in the Park event, which featured almost 1000 vehicles, and saw around 10 000 people come to ogle at these dream cars and legends of the past.

This 1965 Fastback was in stunning condition, and had crowds clamouring around it all day. That paintwork was a glossy, vibrant red that lit up the park for hundreds of metres around it!

Not out of place in the company of the great Mustangs, this lonesome Cobra was in splendid nick.

The original Eleanor, of "Gone in 60 seconds" fame, was a 1973 Mach 1 Mustang, and though it was in yellow and black, this blue-black version was a great substitute.

As I walked around the park, I found myself paying close attention to the wheels that people selected to complement their rides - from classic original, to custom bling, they were ALL stunning!
